Theresa DiJoseph Obituary

Theresa DiJoseph of Wayne Theresa DiJoseph, 90, of Wayne, PA passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016. Theresa was the loving wife of Robert DiJoseph, with whom she shared 64 years. Theresa was born on May 22, 1925 in Watertwon, South Dakota to Frank and Hazel Hickner and grew up in Baudette, Minnesota. She worked in Europe after graduating from the University of Minnesota and traveled extensively through Europe, where she met Robert. She taught at Tredifferyn-Eastown High School and was an active volunteer for many organizations, particularly St. Katherine’s church. Surviving is her husband Robert, son Robert, daughters Mary DiJoseph and Christine Kimmel, grandchildren Christopher DiJoseph, Travis DiJoseph, and Meghan Lass, brothers Richard and George Hickner, and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial was held at 10:30 am January 22 at St. Katherine of Siena Church in Wayne, PA.

I was very sorry to hear of Teresa DiJoseph's passing. She was very loved by the Bob and Laura Hickner family. I particularly remember her helping my mother get through my Dad's funeral. She was such a cheerful and giving soul. My condolences to husband Bob and children Robert, Mary Sue and Christy.
