Jamieson Edward Harkins

1953-2013 ARLINGTON Jamieson Edward Harkins of Plymouth,NH. and Arlington, VT. passed away on Sept. 3, 2013 in Bennington, VT from complications of cancer. He was born on August 20, 1953 in Worcester, MA, the son of Louiedelle (Divoll) and William Harkins. Jim grew up in Bolton MA, attended Nashoba High School, Lyndon State College and graduated in 1977 from the University of Vermont. For many years Jim operated Black Magic Chimney Sweeps in VT and NH and taught history at Waterville Valley Academy in Waterville Valley, NH. Jim is survived by his family, Antonia of Arlington, VT, Natt of Plymouth, NH, Kate of East Dorset, VT, sister Susan Cushman, brother John and good friend Bob Holtorf. He was predeceased by his parents, twin brother Jerome and brother Steven . Jim loved his family, the Red Sox, Patriots and a good political argument, not necessarily in that order. The family would like to thank the wonderful doctors and nurses at Dartmouth Hitchcock, SVMC, Northshire Medical Center and the Manchester Health Services who helped with his care.
