Marsha A. Wilkins

Marsha A. Wilkins

1952-2013 SUNDERLAND Marsha A. Wilkins, 61, passed away following a brief illness on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in Bennington on March 20, 1952 she was the daughter of the late Howard and Evelyn (Sargood) Sherman. Marsha raised two daughters, put herself through Southern Vermont College and was excitedly planning her retirement from Central Vermont Public Service where she worked for more than 31 years. Marsha had a larger than life personality, she was always smiling. She loved to garden, relax in her pool and was an avid tag saler. Most of all, Marsha loved to spend time with her family. She is survived by her children, Laura (Brian) Bliss and Sarah Wilkins of Cambridge, N.Y., and Taylor Vogt of Florida; her sister, Linda Sherman of Sunderland; brother, Michael Sherman of Bennington; as well as a family of four legged friends and of course her extended CVPS family which she adored. FUNERAL NOTICE: Marsha's family will receive friends on Saturday November 23 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the ARLINGTON CHAPEL of the HANSON WALBRIDGE & SHEA FUNERAL HOME. A brief prayer service will conclude the visitation at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial gifts be made to the Second Chance Animal center in care of Hanson Walbridge & Shea, P.O. Box 528, Arlington, Vt. 05250. To send the family personal email condolences, please visit www.sheafuneralhomes.com.
