MANCHESTER Robert Dombrosky, 91, of Wayne, N.J., died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013. Born in North Bergen he lived in Franklin Lakes and Manchester, before moving to Wayne. Robert was a WW II Marine veteran, wounded at Iwo Jima and a member of the Purple Heart Society. Following active military service, Robert continued to serve in the Marine Corps Reserve being commissioned to the rank of Captain in 1951. Robert was the principal owner of Village Ford Sales Inc., Ridgewood, N.J., from 1962-1980. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Jean (Franzson) Dombrosky of Wayne; his children, Robert (Judith) of Glen Rock, Richard (Cora) of Chino Valley, Ariz., and Jane (Douglas) Farrell of Montclair, and his grandchildren, Robert, Thomas (Michelle), Mary, Zayne and Alexis. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, 2 Fremont Ave. Park Ridge, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wounded Warrior Project or
