James M. Scheiber
MANSFIELD: James M. Scheiber, 82, of Mansfield, lost his battle with cancer Sunday evening, January 27, 2013 at Med Central Mansfield. Jim was born December 24, 1930 in Crestline to William and Gertrude Scheiber. He married Lolita L. Heichel on April 5, 1959, and they were together for the next 53 years. Jim was a retired Postal Supervisor and Korean War Vet. In his younger years he was an incredible tap dancer and instructor.
Jim lived a full life filled with a wide range of interests and activities. He was a proud and devoted fan of his children's and grandchildren's sports activities. Jim and Lolita travelled all over the country, never missing an event. He managed Clear Fork Hills Swim Club and was involved with the G.M.A.C swim league serving as President for many years. He was an avid golfer and devoted many hours to First English Lutheran Church. He was a lifelong fan of The Ohio State University and a grudging Indians fan. Jim will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Lolita Scheiber; children, Todd (Hillary) Scheiber, James P. Scheiber and Maria (Jerry) Campbell; grandchildren, Corey Scheiber, Taylor Scheiber and Peyton Campbell: sisters, Irene Sheehan and Joan Gerish both of Crestline and many nieces and nephews. We will miss you forever.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at First English Lutheran Church, Mansfield, with a service by Rev. Paul Larson and lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Med Central Hospice.

I am so sorry for your loss. Jim was my first supervisor when I started at the post office in 1985. I transferred to Tennessee and have had many supervisors since but he is still my favorite. I have thought of him often over the years. My thoughts are with your family.

Lolita and Family,
My sister and I worked with Jimmy as we called him a long time ago @ Visions we had so much with him, he always had us laughing.
Every time I saw him at Kroger's I'd yell "JIMMY," and he'd turn around and say " gosh they will let anyone in this store." We will never forget him.
We are so very sorry for your loss, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Jimmy will keep God VERY busy. God has a VERY special angel.
