Dee L. Crager
MILAN: Dee L. Crager, 85, passed away Monday morning, April 28, 2014 at Briarwood of Milan. He was born August 18, 1928 in Clearfield, Kentucky to the late Frank and Rena Crager. He moved to Mansfield in 1944 and began working at Mansfield Tire and Rubber Company. Dee then went to work at Empire-Detroit Steel in 1947 and retired in 1977.
He is survived by two sons, Frank Crager of Florida and John Crager of Arizona; a daughter, Judy; nephews, Kenny Crager, Gary Crager and Roger Crager, all of Rome, OH, Tom Crager of Plymouth, and Wilbert Crager of Morehead, KY; and a niece, Juanita Crager Dean of Batavia, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters, Thomas, Bert, Earl, Roy, Allie, Sammy, Stella and Della.
The funeral service will be held Monday, May 5, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Clifford Earl Tackett will conduct the service. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice, 775 Lexington Avenue, Mansfield, OH 44907.

Sorry to hear about Dee, my Dad and Dee were coworkers,I remember Dee coming to our house on a big Harley Davidson.I still have a picture of me setting on it. my prayers to the family .Don Mckenzie ( Clayton's son ).
