Richard Norman Hunter
MANSFIELD: Richard Norman Hunter, 87, of Mansfield passed away March 24, 2013 at MedCentral Health System.
Richard was born January 17, 1926 in Frederick, Maryland to Curry and Mary Burkhart Hunter.
Survivors include his children Carol Ann (Michael) Holzworth of South Carolina, Mark Richard (Carolyn) Hunter of Columbus; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother James Hunter of Mansfield.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Marilyn, four sisters, and four brothers.
Friends may call at Herlihy-Chambers Funeral Home, 173 Park Avenue West on Tuesday from 10 - 11:30 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00pm Tuesday at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Fr. Tom McQuillen officiating. Burial will follow at Mansfield Catholic Cemetery with military services provided by Richland County Joint Veterans Burial Detail.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.

I just heard about your Fathers passing and am so sorry for your loss. My husband and I would often see him out at breakfast. He and your Mom were great folks!

Mark, Sorry about your Dad. I will miss talking with him at the store. I remember your dad at St Peters games he was always having a great time seeing your team play back in the day.
