Growing up were the summer vacations to Granny and Grandpa's with the highlight always being Sunday dinners at Aunt Barb and Uncle Johnny's. As an adult was the warmth and fellowship they showed me over Thanksgiving holidays. Go carts, playing with my cousins, the Saint Bernard dog, darts, softball, stump grinding, going out for breakfast, peppers from the garden, homemade wine, wood crafted rocking horses, the jokes, Cleveland Indians, how the fond memories flow.
I wish I could be there on the 19th to see everyone and pay my respects but my thoughts and heart will be with all of you. Uncle Johnny, as always, thinking of you will continually bring a smile to my face.
With Love,

I was sadden by the news of John's passing from his sister, Barbara Perry Moyer who called me this morning to tell me. My heart goes out to Barb., your sons, sisters and all the family.
Having lived out of state for many years and that long since I last saw John and Barb. Barbara Moyer has kept me abreast of various activities concerning her family and talked of John & Barb frequently. I was a classmate & friend of Barb's sister Ella and in fact a bridesmaid at Ella & Don's wedding many years ago.
I know what Barb and her sons are going through, having gone through it myself 12 years ago. May all your family find peace and comfort in the precious memories you share. Marilyn (Moyer) Weston

Heaven's gain is our loss. Johnny loved his family. He loved Barb and faithfully demonstrated respect for her. As his sister, he was always there for me. We were always welcomed and felt at home when we visited. I will miss Johnny's big hug when meeting me at the front door. I know he received many hugs upon entering into the presence of Jesus. God's blessings. Barbara Perry Moyer - Cary, NC

Aunt Barb and family,
Please know that you are in our prayers. Uncle Johnny was one of the most fun loving and uplifting individuals that I had the opportunity to know. He lived his life to the fullest even up to the end in his gracious departure. While growing up and visiting Mansfield as a kid I always looked forward to staying with Uncle Johnny. I have vivid memories of the "Farm House" and just having the time of my life with the boys, of course Aunt Barb you always kept us straight. Uncle Johnny will be dearly missed by all of us. Our loss is heavens gain!
All our love,
Jeff, Lanise, Sydney & Ty
