Betty Darlene Rose Mahoney OLIVE HILL, KY: Mrs. Betty Darlene Rose Mahoney, age 80, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday morning, March 2, 2015, at the Trinity Station Retirement Center in Flatwoods, Kentucky. She was born March 14, 1934, in Carter County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Willie and Lena Gilliam Rose. Betty was a member of the First Christian Church in Mansfield, Ohio for over 50 years. She loved gardening, flowers, traveling, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Erthel Rose. Betty is survived by her husband of 58 years, James Mitchell Mahoney; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Cathleen Mahoney of Columbus, Ohio; one daughter and son-in-law, Alice and Eugene Perry, of Olive Hill, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Tracy Tippie, Meagan Mahoney, Kristen Perry, Kaitlyn Mahoney, and Amy Sapp; three great grandchildren, Landon Tippie, Caden Smith, and Jameson Ryll; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Hedy Rose of Saint Johns, Michigan; and a sister-in-law, Louise Rose of Arrowsmith, Illinois; she also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother David Gee officiating. A private graveside service will be held at the Logan Cemetery on Rose Ridge in Olive Hill, Kentucky. Myers, Gladys Pauline (McGinnis)  
Gladys Pauline (McGinnis) Myers SHELBY: Gladys Pauline Myers, age 96, of Shelby, died Friday, February 27, 2015 at the Crestwood Care Center in Shelby. She was born February 24, 1919 in Heath, Ohio the daughter of the late Daniel and Harriet (Moose) McGinnis. Mrs. Myers was a former employee of The Peoples Store and The Fashion Shop both in Shelby. She also helped her husband Marlin on their family farm. Gladys was a member of First Lutheran Church in Shelby. In her younger years, she was a 4-H advisor for many years, was a member of a mothers club and Piecemakers Quiltters Club. Gladys was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed china painting and making dolls. Mrs. Myers is survived by her children, Judy (Jacque) Hoover, Dean (Gail) Myers, and Larry Myers all of Shelby; her grandchildren, Kimberly Hale, Gary (Jodi) Myers, Kelley Blankenship, Nikki Myers, Heidi (Kevin) Alt, JR Hoover, Julie (Jim) Chambers, Jody (Steve) Yockey, Tera (Greg) Rouse; 22 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Marlin W. Myers in 1995; a sister: Mary Fuchs; two brothers and their wives, Frank (Lois) McGinnis and Dan (Gerry) McGinnis; a granddaughter-in-law, Reba Hoover. Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 10:30 AM by Pastor Russel Yoak. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Memorial expressions may be made to First Lutheran Church Endowment Fund or Hospice of North Central Ohio. Myers, Katelynn  
Katelynn D. Myers GREENWICH: "When I close my eyes, I see you. When I open my eyes, I miss you". Katelynn D. Myers, 25, of Greenwich, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 in Richland County. She was born August 17, 1989, at Fort Ord in Monterey Bay, California, to Eric John and JoAnna Elaine (Hout) Myers. She was a 2007 graduate of Crestview High School and received her Associate Degree from The Ohio State University. Katelynn had an outstanding sense of humor and loved to joke around with others, even if the joke was on her. She had the sweetest personality and loved her family and friends deeply. Katelynn was someone you could depend on and was always there when needed by anyone. She loved all animals, especially her cats, Zuko, Snip and Ichi. She was a member of 4H and FFA when she was younger. She enjoyed shooting guns, and her favorite vehicle was her burgundy Pontiac Trans Am. Katelynn spent her free time with her friends, playing video games, and listening to music. She was also a member of a local bowling league. She was currently employed at Tremco in Ashland. Katelynn leaves behind her parents, Eric and JoAnna Myers; brother, Michael Myers (Iva Ivanova); maternal grandfather, Walter Hout; paternal grandmother, Maria Myers; two aunts, Chantal (Adam) Sellers and Beth (Jason) Hill; an uncle, Raymond (Pam) Hout; great-grandmother, Pauline Netotea; five cousins; and numerous other extended family members. Katelynn's feline companions, Zuko, Snip and Ichi, also survive her. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Patricia Hout; great-grandfather, Elmer Fife; and great-grandparents, Walter and Maurine Hout. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2015, in the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral ceremony will be held at the funeral home Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Paul Lintern officiating. Burial will follow in Windsor Cemetery.
