Weldon E. Tidwell MANSFIELD: Weldon E. Tidwell, 91, of Mansfield, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 following a brief illness. Weldon was born on January 13, 1924 in DeKalb, TX, to Frank J. and Clara (Feazell) Tidwell. He retired from GM in 1982, after 28 years of employment, and had been hired there shortly after GM had opened. He loved being around his family and spending time with them. Weldon enjoyed traveling, woodworking and country music. He is survived by his wife, Jewell F. (Duncan) Tidwell; two children, Jeff Tidwell of Perrysville, and Deborah Schoonover of Mansfield; three step-children, Wayne (Debra) Littleton and Loretta Littleton both of Mansfield, and Cindy (Paul) Waggoner of Shelby; four grandchildren, Larry Schoonover, James Schoonover, Carrie Doerrer, and Michael Schoonover; three step-grandchildren, Tracie Littleton, Maia Brainard, and Justin Hall; ten great-grandchildren and one on the way; eight step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild on the way; one sister-in-law, Marie Tidwell of TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. Weldon was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Betty Tidwell; his second wife, Jean Tidwell; his third wife, Frances Tidwell; his son-in-law, Larry Schoonover; one step-grandson, Brandon Hall; and numerous siblings. Truax, Frances  
Frances R. Truax BELLVILLE: Frances R. Truax, 76, lifelong resident of Bellville, Ohio died peacefully at Riverside Methodist Hospital on June 28, 2015 after a brief illness. Fran was born in Mansfield, Ohio January 17, 1939, the daughter of the late Placido and Helen Gonzalez. She will be remembered most for her dedication to her family and loyalty to her friends. She was entirely unselfish and devoted herself to lending a helping hand, the comfort of a home and always a wonderful meal, advice, laughter and inspiration. She was Vice President of R. J. Gandee Hearing Aid Company serving for over 30 years as a Hearing Aid Specialist. Fran had worked in the hearing industry for over 57 years and received many awards such as trips abroad in recognition of her tremendous knowledge in her field. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church, The Sons of Italy, and the Ohio Hearing Healthcare Alliance. She was an excellent golfer having played at Twin Lakes Golf Course where she once captured the A flight title in the league championship. She was a graduate of Bellville High school having participated in Basketball, Chorus, F.H.A., Girls' Glee Club , the Bell Hi Annual Staff and the "Chatter" newspaper staff. She coached the Clear Fork Girls Softball Team; and The Clear Fork Flag squad. She was a former member of the Clear Fork Athletic Boosters Club. She was an avid sports fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Cavaliers, Browns and Indians. She was a former member of Twin Lakes Golf Course. She was the proud mother of Charles P. (Christi) Truax, Michael A. Truax, and Elizabeth E. (Ryan Lambert) Salas; grandmother of Mathew (Sasha) Truax, Tyler (Trinity) Clow, Kelsie Clow, Kayge, Kaitlyn, Korianne, and Michael Truax, Taylor, Gabriella and Macie Salas and TIffany Lambert; great-grandmother to Gavin, Lilly and Addy Truax , Cruz Burris and Carter Clow; and sister to Carl (Judy) Gonzalez and Mari Ann (Dan) Hoover, both of Bellville. She had 13 nieces and nephews, 12 great nieces and nephews, one great great nephew, and many special cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald J. Gonzalez; and sister, Rosalie M. Murch. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Road, Ontario. A mass of christian burial will be held Friday, July 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 104 West 1st Street, Mansfield, conducted by Father Jeremy Miller. Twyman Sr., Robert Henry "Penny"  
Robert "Penny" Henry Twyman, Sr. CLEVELAND: Robert "Penny" Henry Twyman, Sr., 68, passed away Monday; June 29, 2015 at home unexpectedly. Robert was born September 30, 1946, in Mansfield, to the late Albert Twyman and Dorothy Talley-Twyman. Robert was a loving father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. He loves to listen to music and love riding his bike all the time. He retired from MBI Product Company. Robert leaves to cherish in his memory his children, Veronica (Ron Moton Jr.) Twyman, Robert Twyman Jr., Angela Haynes, LaQuita Bronson, all of Mansfield, Angela Moore, Wanda Overton, of Cleveland, Lorenzo Frazier, of Detroit, MI, Wendell James, Roberta James, Robin James, Toni James, all of Painesville, OH; four brothers, Elder Albert (Joyce) Twyman, of Mansfield, Bill (Debbie) Twyman, Harry (Yvonne) Twyman and Sam Twyman, all of Columbus; a sister, Mary Ann Brown, of Mansfield; a special niece, Mary Hatcher, of Mansfield; a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by seven sisters, Mary Elizabeth Twyman, Lela McIntrye, Virgie Twyman, Dorothy Dunn, Ida Mae Spears, Margaret Twyman and Lillie Ogletree; a brother, Paul Twyman Sr.; a daughter, Janice Twyman. The services will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at 11a.m., with one hour prior calling at Small's Funeral Services, 326 Park Avenue West, with Rev. Lamont Lindsay officiating. The committal service will follow the services. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the home of the daughter, Veronica Twyman, 673 Burns St., from 4-8 daily, until the day of the services The family has entrusted Small's Funeral Services with the arrangements. www.smallsfuneralservices.org
