Rudd, Billy  
Billy C. Rudd SHELBY: Billy Clyde Rudd, age 66, died peacefully Tuesday Morning, May 3, 2016 in his home surrounded by his loving family. Born July 13, 1949 in Pekin, KY to Lukes and Inez (Havens) Rudd, Billy has lived in Shelby since 1968. A 1967 graduate of Ezel High School in Morgan County, KY, he was employed with Loveless Gulf Station, Ernsberger Auto, H.F. Skarl Motors and then was employed with Modern Tire retiring after 29½ years of service. Billy was a generous man, he loved helping others, whether it be through the Shelby Helpline or the benefit pie auction that he started over 20 years ago for the Shriners Burn Institute/Mooseheart. He and his wife Betty were the 2015 Jess Rath award winners and he was extremely proud of that accomplishment. Billy also enjoyed sitting and talking on the front porch with his loving wife, fishing, shooting trap and working in the yard. Although, his greatest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Betty Joy (Trusty) Rudd whom he wed 47 years ago on June 14, 1968; daughter, Becky (Joe) Given of Greenwich; son, Bradley (future daughter-in-law Raina Pfahler) Rudd of Shelby; two grandchildren, Luke & Brianna Given; three brothers, Lucian Rudd of West Liberty, KY, Danny Rudd and Johnny (Nell) Rudd all of Ezel, KY; as well as numerous nieces nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Barry Scott Rudd in 2009; two sisters, Lena Humphrey and Betty Manning; five brothers, Ray, Bobby, Delmer, L.C. and Dean Rudd. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Rudd Cemetery in Grassy Creek, KY. Friends may call at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory 3:00 to 6:00 PM Thursday, May 5, 2016 with funeral services at immediately following at 6:00 PM. Nancy Ann (Patton) Sherban MANSFIELD: Nancy Ann (Patton) Sherban, 80, of Mansfield, passed Monday, May 2, 2016 at her home, following a lengthy illness. Nancy was born November 2, 1935 in Olive Hill, Kentucky and was the daughter of the late Ulysses S. Grant and Draxie Patton. She loved the Lord and spending time with her family. Nancy enjoyed flowers, especially red roses and her cat, "Pretty Boy". She liked the color red, going shopping, butterflies, strawberries, dancing, and Elvis Presley. Nancy is survived by five children, Joyce (Jerry) Williams, Dianna Conn, Gary (Pat) Jacobs, Ronald (Bev) Sherban, and Rhonda (James) Henderson; twelve grandchildren, Joy, Misty, Leona, Nancy, Jason, Ronnie, Michelle, Gary, Terry, Brandon, Shawn, and Amber; 24 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends including Lonnie Thompson, Rev. Al Spore, and Ilene Holsinger. Along with her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her former husband, Toma Sherban; an infant daughter, Phylis Ann Jacobs, seven brothers, Frank Patton, Oscar Patton, James Patton, Blake Patton, Vinton Patton, Robert Patton, and Otis Patton; and two sisters, Janice Parker and Helen Frye. Calling hours will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. A meal will be served at the funeral home following the burial. Annetta Faye Titus MANSFIELD: Annetta Faye Titus, 73, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2016. She was born to Harold Lee and Ersel Lorraine (Riggs) Ryder on April 25, 1943 in Portsmouth, Ohio. Annetta was feisty, passionate, and she loved with all her being. She was a fun, loving, opinionated, determined, and strong woman. In addition to being a beautician, Annetta worked for Med Central Hospital for 25 years. Annetta was loved and adored by her five brothers. Her family meant the world to her, and her friends were dearly loved. Annetta enjoyed weekend get-away's and dancing with the love of her life. She enjoyed games, especially playing Euchre. Annetta was a hardworker, and she encapsulated a lot of life in a small package. Annetta is survived by her children, Derrick Titus of Mansfield, Ohio, and Vicki (James) Price of Stow, Ohio; her grandchildren, Andrea (Jared) Funk of Westerville, Ohio, Tyler (Brittney) Price of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and Tori Price of Stow, Ohio; one brother, Daniel (Sharon) Carl Ryder of Texas, one brother-in-law, Jerry (Karlene) Titus; and many nieces and nephews. Annetta was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Arthur Titus; and her brothers, Gary Lee Ryder, Ernie Paul Ryder, David Lynn Ryder, and Harold Eugene Ryder. Friends are invited to gather on Sunday, May 8, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill. Treisch Jr., Theodore H.  
Theodore H. Treisch, Jr. GALION: Theodore H. Treisch, Jr., 84, of Galion, died Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Mill Creek Nursing And Rehab, Galion after a long illness. Ted was born in Galion on January 5, 1932 to the late Theodore H. and Evelyn M. (Jones) Treisch, Sr. His father died when he was a young boy and his step-father Cornell Brown helped his mother raise him. He married Joyce Ann Schreck on July 15, 1967 and she preceded him in death on May 14, 2007. Most of his life he worked at the Galion Iron Works, Galion and he retired from Schmidt Security in 2011 as a security guard. Ted was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Galion. He was a former member of the American Legion Post 243, Galion, Free & Accepted Mason Lodge #414, Galion and the Loyal Order of the Moose #303, Galion. He was a proud military veteran who served his country during the Korean War. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 - 1955. Ted enjoyed reading, especially National Geographic and Time magazines, woodworking in his basement, building and repairing things, cooking on his grill, and antique cars. He was also an avid coin collector. Ted was known to be bullheaded and stubborn but he loved his family very much. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Ron and Tami Treisch, Sachse, TX, his three daughters and sons-in-law Jodie & Harold Williams, Mt. Gilead, Lisa & Ron Roberts, Westerville, Marla & Brett Grimes, Galion, his seven grandchildren Amy Sparling and Nick Treisch of TX, Marc Williams and Andy Williams of Galion, Sammy Carter, Jr of Columbus and Makaila Grimes and Zachary Grimes of Galion, his nine great-grandchildren, his sister and brother-in-law Charlene & John Stinehelfer, Galion, and sister-in-law Mac Treisch of FL. He was preceded in death by parents Theodore Treisch, Sr., Evelyn and Cornell Brown, his wife Joyce, and his brother James Treisch. Memorial calling hours for friends will be held at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 6:00 - 8:00 PM. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion with Minister Willard Delaney officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Galion with full military honors provided by the U.S. Navy and the Galion Crestline Veterans Military Funeral Detail. The Mark A. James "Jim" H. Eldridge Jr. MANSFIELD: James "Jim" H. Eldridge Jr., 76, of Mansfield, died Saturday, April 30, 2016 at his residence. Born January 8, 1940 in West Salem, Ohio, he was the son of James Howard Eldridge, Sr. and Ethel Arlene (Mann) Eldridge. A veteran of the United States Army National Guard, he had worked for Taylor Metal, Ohio Brass and Bosch Braking Systems where he held various positions including Foreman and Maintenance Supervisor retiring in 2000. He had also worked for the Richland County Sheriffs Department as a Mounted Deputy from 1969 to 1981. Jim was a member of the American Legion Post #16, Madison-Mifflin AARP #4637, Mansfield Muzzle Loading Rifle Club, the Ashland County Wildlife Conservation League and the Mohican Bow Hunters Club. He was also a past president of the Madison Band Boosters, a post leader for the Boy Scouts and had coached Madison Little League. Jim was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing and an avid woodworker and furniture maker. There was never a dull moment in Jim's life as he was always active with things to do for his family and community including volunteer work at numerous organizations. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pat (Fairchild) Eldridge whom he married June 27, 1959; four children, Anthony (Candace) Eldridge of Mansfield, Robin (Rev. Robert) Stanforth of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Carolyn Eldridge and James R. (Sally) Eldridge all of Westerville, Ohio; eleven grandchildren, Garth, Chad, Toni, Brittany (Shawn), Bethany, Gabrielle (Stephen), Danielle (Jake), Jesika, Rebeka (Parris), Derek and Matthew; 13 great grandchildren; two brothers, Mike Eldridge and Tom (Susan) Eldridge; two sisters, Betty Lee and Cynthia Palmer; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Keelee and two brothers, David and Richard Eldridge. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016 at the funeral home conducted by his son-in-law, Rev. Robert Stanforth. Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery. Arlene Stevens Gemperline POWELL: Arlene Stevens Gemperline, 76, of Powell passed away peacefully on May 1, 2016 at St. Ann's Hospital. She was born on August 26, 1939 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late Robert Stevens and Thelma Wolford. Arlene is survived by her husband of 17 years, Tom Gemperline; daughter, Sheri Andrews; five stepchildren, Laura (Larry) Beatty, Michael (Cindy)Gemperline, Kellye Lehman, Scott Andrew Gemperline, and Jody Gemperline along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arlene is preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Jeff Andrews. Arlene was a dedicated mother and wife and was a loyal friend and neighbor. She also enjoyed being an avid gardener as well. Annabell M. (Coder) Pugh SHELBY: Annabell M. (Coder) Pugh, age 90, of Shelby, died Sunday, May 1, 2016 at her home. She was born September 8, 1925 in Richmond Township, Huron County, Ohio the daughter of the late Loy Clinton and Helen Gertrude (Carpenter) Coder. Annabell was a 1943 graduate of Willard High School and attended Tiffin Business University. On August 27, 1950 she married Roger Ellis Pugh and he preceded her in death on May 7, 2004. Annabell was a homemaker and had been employed at Wilkens Air Force Depot in Shelby and also assisted her husband in their farming operation. A longtime active member of First Lutheran Church in Shelby, Annabell taught Sunday school for many years. Volunteering was just something Annabell did. Besides her church, she volunteered for the American Red Cross, MedCentral Shelby Hospital, and was the presiding judge and poll worker for Cass B precinct in Richland County. She was a former member of the Ohio Farm Bureau, AARP, and Plymouth Board of Education where she was past president. She is survived by a son: David (Sherri) Pugh of Cartersville, GA; daughter: Mary Ellen (Jack) Burgess of Columbus, OH; 2 grandsons: Christopher Bryan (Sarah) Pugh of Shelby and Ryan Matthew (Natalie) Pugh of Melborne, FL; 2 great grandsons: Brody Ellis Pugh and Brock Louis Pugh; 2 step grandchildren: Scott & Debbie Rollins and Staci & Chuck Wade; 3 step great grandchildren; Many nieces and nephews; Sister-in-law: Sylvia Coder of Attica. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Avis Sue Coder, Wilda Haverfield, Ruth Henderson and Lyndel Coder. Friends and family are welcome on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 10:00 AM at First Lutheran Church, 33 Broadway, Shelby with Pastor Russel Yoak officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh.
