Andrew "Andy" M. Urban

ONTARIO: Andrew "Andy" M. Urban, 71, of Ontario went home to be with his Lord and Savior early Wednesday morning, October 23, 2013 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after an extended courageous battle with leukemia. He was born September 12, 1942 in Dry Tavern, Pennsylvania to the late Steve and Annabelle Urban.

Andy retired from the Ohio State Reformatory. He enjoyed camping, fishing, woodworking and most of all, spending time with his family. He was a member of Amvets Post #26 and V.F.W. Post #3494. A generous man with both his time and talents, he was always willing to help people in whatever way possible.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lois Copechal Urban; daughter, Tina (Martin) Loughman of Mansfield; son, Michael W. Urban of Mansfield; two grandsons, Ryan Loughman and Dustin Urban; one great-grandson, Koltin Urban; two sisters-in-law, Rene Urban and Lucille (Chuck) Cool; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Richard, Steve, Charles and Bob Urban; and two sisters, Rose Marie Ling and Bertha Urban.

Friends and family may visit from 3-5 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2013 in the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service conducted by Deacon Terry Philpott will follow at 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
