Anna Hartman(1932 - 2013)

Anna Florence Hartman

MANSFIELD: Anna Florence Hartman, 80, passed away unexpectedly on Friday evening. We find solace only in knowing that she has joined our Dad and her beloved husband, Don Hartman, who she missed for so long and who sits as a servant of the Lord. She also joins our brother, Timmy who passed as an infant, and our sister, Betty Jo. As each moment passes we will forever remain in awe of her strength of character and unending devotion to her family. We are thankful that we were blessed to have shared our lives with her, although it was so short a time.

Mom has touched each of us and left a life-long imprint in our hearts and minds. Also a devoted friend and previous Civil Servant as a Deputy Sheriff in Mansfield, Ohio, her strength through the years will remain unattainable by most, and envied by all who knew her.

Anna is survived by her son, Frank Payne and wife Linda of Richfield, OH, her daughter, Sheila Payne of Columbus, OH, her son, Steve Payne of Austin, TX, her daughter, Judy Dobbin of Columbus, OH, her daughter, Sherry Walters and husband Donnie of Shelby, OH, her daughter, Debbie Payne of Mansfield, OH, and her son, Kevin Payne of Norwalk, OH. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; four sisters, Kay Lane, Norma King, Mickey Bayliss and Marion Anderson; and many nieces and nephews. We know she will serve the Lord as she lived her life and we are comforted with the memories that we will forever hold dear. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Hartman; son, Timothy Lee Payne; daughter, Betty Jo Huffman; sister, Wanda Estep; and brother, Opie Ray, Jr.

We pray Lord, to gently hold her hand as she always gently held our hands. We pray that you will guide her as she reaches out to you. Hold her close, we will need her always and will be looking for her when we join you in heaven.

Friends and family may visit from 4-7 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will be in the funeral home Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Paul Lintern officiating.
