DELAWARE: Brian Nagel, age 59, passed away early Sunday morning, November 25, 2012 at his home. He was born November 30, 1952 in Mansfield to the late Lewis and Patricia (Turner) Nagel. Brian retired from Huntington Bank and was a 24 year retired veteran of the Army
National Guard. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church. Brian loved to ride his motorcycle and enjoyed shooting his pistol at Blackwing in Delaware. Brian was a member of V.F.W
. Post # 1067 in Ashland. His granddaughter was the light of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Sue (Hall) Nagel of Delaware, OH; son, Nathan A. Nagel of Groveport, OH; granddaughter, Tristin Taylor Smith of Mansfield; three sisters, Jude Nagel Colby of Burney, CA, Brenda Beer Hurrell and Janet Beer Roberts, both of Mansfield; three brothers, Robert, William and Lewis Nagel; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ron and Bruce Nagel.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. with military honors presented by the Richland County Joint Veterans Burial Squad. Friends and family may visit beginning at 12:00 p.m. Rector Emeritus David S. Sipes will conduct the service. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park.
