Charlene Prosser-Beer

MANSFIELD: Charlene Prosser-Beer, 85, of Mansfield, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at MedCentral Mansfield. Born December 2, 1928 in Decatur, Indiana, she was the daughter of Edward and Florence (Kessler) Neadstine.

She retired from Eaton Manufacturing and was a member of Community Bible Church in Mansfield. She loved playing games on the computer but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by four children, Jane (George) Little of Mansfield, James (Bobbie) Prosser of Mansfield, Judson (Diana) Prosser of Shiloh and Jack (Peggy) Prosser of Shiloh; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; a sister, Bonnie Carver of Pennsylvania; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James O. Prosser; her husband, Eli Beer; five brothers; and one sister.

Family and friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2014 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Terry Zerby. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
