Charles "Dick" Bellomy, Jr.

MANSFIELD: Charles "Dick" Bellomy, Jr., 64, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at MedCentral Mansfield. Born March 4, 1948 in Ashland, Kentucky he was the son of Charles Bellomy, Sr. and Mary Lucille (Lumpkins) Bellomy. He retired from H & S Automotive and was involved in Deaf Clubs in Mansfield and Columbus. He enjoyed remote control cars, drag racing, classic cars and wrestling. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Joseph) Bellomy; two sons, Rick Bellomy and his fiancé Meredith Hanshaw and Eric Bellomy, Sr.; a daughter, Kristy Shasky; a step son, Josh (Mary Nance) Joseph; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Pat; three brothers, Jim, Jerry and Henry Bellomy; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Swanigan and a nephew, James "Buttons" Bellomy.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Bruce Copley. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.

The family would live to give special thanks to interpreter and friend, Ruthie Derr.
