Diane Ruth Noble

TUCSON, AZ: Diane Ruth Noble 67, passed away January 13, 2013 after a short illness. Diane has overcome several challenges over the past few years and has finally been welcomed into heaven joining her recently deceased daughter, Lorraine Ann Noble.

After receiving a double lung transplant one year ago she became an advocate for lung transplant recipients. In the process she joined the support group Unity for Life. Diane spent her life caring for others as a registered nurse at Northwest Hospital, where she retired after 25 years of dedication. Diane was a Plymouth High School graduate, class of 1963 in Ohio, and a long time member of Beta Sigma Phi enjoying her time spent with all of her sorority sisters. She was a member of Christian Reform, Celeryville, Ohio. Diane resided in Tucson, AZ.

She is preceded in death by her father, Herman Goodyke; and survived by her husband, James Noble; daughter, Angela Diane Clayton (Noble); grandchildren, Jordan, Jason and Olivia; mother, Cora Ruth Goodyke; five brothers and three sisters.

The family is grateful for the care and dedication to Diane and the entire staff at UMC.
