Donnabel Lois (Garber) Solar
MANSFIELD: Donnabel Lois (Garber) Solar, 88, of Mansfield, died Monday, July 29, 2013 at her residence. Born August 31, 1924 at Mansfield General with Dr. Lavender attending, she was the daughter of David Lee and Mary Lois (Lemley) Garber. She was employed at Westinghouse during World War II, then Mount Vernon Bridge Co., Don Barr Associates, Disneyland, and Lawyers Title, becoming a broker and operating Kumisarek Real Estate during the 60's after the death of her husband Joseph M. Kumisarek. She was the third recipient of a CPS in Mansfield, was a member of the first class to receive the GRI designation at The Ohio State University
and one of the formative committee that drew up the rules and regulations beginning multiple listing service at the Mansfield Board of Realtors.
Surviving are a son, Gary L. Harris; grandson, Marc L. (Debbie) Harris; great grandsons, Zane L. and Gage L. Harris all of Mansfield; sister, DeLee McNaul of Bellville; brother, Donovan L. (Martha) Garber of Canton; five nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley S. Solar; a grandson, Stephan L. Harris; brother-in-law, Dale McNaul; and a nephew, David L. Garber.
Private services will be held for the family with burial in Mansfield Memorial Park.
