MANSFIELD: Emma Holloman, 99, of Mansfield, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 2, 2012 at Crystal Care Center. She was born in Salyersville, Kentucky on April 17, 1913 to Vance and June (Risner) Fugett. Mrs. Holloman was a homemaker who loved to cook for her family and friends. She loved to can all her vegetables from the garden.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William and Barb Hampton of Kentucky; two daughters and a son-in-law, Laura and William Mason of Florida and Margerie Yohman of Mansfield; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; numerous nephews and one niece; and her devoted dog, Sweet Pea. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Holloman in 1982; a granddaughter, Toni; a grandson, Roger; her only sister, Jessie Stephens; and a special friend, Robert Ison.
The family wishes to thank Crystal Care Center for the care and love they gave to Mrs. Holloman.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2012 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at the funeral home conducted by her grandson, Rev. Alan Spore, Sr. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
