Evelyn Gibbs Dubler

MANSFIELD: Evelyn Gibbs Dubler, 87, of Mansfield, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away at The Forum at Knightsbridge in Columbus, Ohio on Monday, July 22, 2013 after a short battle with cancer. Born in Trenton, New Jersey n November 23, 1925, the daughter of the late Frederick P. and Florence Cornelius Gibbs. Before moving to Mansfield in 1995, Evelyn and her family lived in Loudonville, Ohio for 35 years where they were active members of the Loudonville Methodist Church.

Evelyn is survived by two daughters, Lynne (Mike Bowman) Prijatel of Powell, Ohio and Jayne (Gary) Strine of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Amy (Kent) Underwood of Dublin, Ohio, Julie (Bo) Dobbs of Powell, Ohio, Jeremy (Brandie) Strine of Lucas, Ohio, and Phillip Strine of Vermillion, Ohio; four great grandchildren, Anne Kathryn and Ricky Underwood and Brennan and Bella Dobbs; and one sister, Margery (Will) Woodruff of South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dubler; her sister, Beverly Gail; and her son-in-law, Richard Prijatel.

At Evelyn's request there will be no services or calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to OhioHealth Hospice/Kobacker House.
