Floyd L. "Lee" Spencer II

MANSFIELD: Floyd L. "Lee" Spencer II, 28, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly on February 1, 2013, in Covington, VA. Lee was born on October 31, 1984, in Mansfield, to Floyd Lee Spencer I and "Sissy" Spencer.

He was loved by many people. He had a heart bigger than he was. Lee was very handy and could fix anything on a car. He actually took apart his first car, a "Big Foot" truck at age 3, and never could get it back together. Lee and his brother John spent their early life in Uniontown, OH and attended Christian Ministries and their Christian school.

Lee is survived by his children, Hannah, Sheila, and Floyd Lee Spencer III, and their mother, Jenny Spencer; his fiancé Leanna Cole and their son, Aryan; his father, Floyd L.(Brenda) Spencer; his mother, Sissy (Danny) Skelton; his maternal grandmother, Flora Adkins; step- grandmother, Jane Sherman; his brother John A Spencer who loved him so much; and many cousins, aunts, and uncles, including his favorite uncle, "Uncle Rod" Sherman.

Lee was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Rodney Sherman; step-grandfather, "Bill" Adkins, and paternal grandmother, Edith Spencer.

Calling hours will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 8, 2013 at Mansfield Faith Assembly Church, 2727 Lexington Ave., Lexington. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Don Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Mansfield Memorial Park. Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd 1106 PAE, Mansfield, is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, to assist with funeral expenses.
