Helen Veronica Falter

MANSFIELD: Helen Veronica Jasinski Falter, 93, of Mansfield passed away December 21, 2013 at Winchester Terrace Nursing Home.

Mrs. Falter was born on May 15, 1920 to the late Anthony and Mary Gralka Jasinski. She was a 1938 graduate of St. Peter's High School, and a lifelong member of St. Peter's Parish. She was married to Albert Phillip Falter for over 40 years. Retired from the Mansfield Public Library, she was an active and enthusiastic member of St. Peter's Choir and St. Peter's Glee Club and volunteered for many years in the gardens and Kingwood Center.

Mrs. Falter is survived by brothers Raymond Jasinski of Mansfield and Edmund Jasinski of San Leandro, CA; daughters Alana Johnson, Monica (John) Boals, Theresa Morr, Clementa Mosier, Camille (Greg) Grayson; grandchildren Veronica Green, Gabe Boals, Jocelyn Boals, Beau and Kyle Grayson, Austin and Tucker Mosier, Ariel and Allegra Johnson; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Jay Jasinski, Robert Jasinski; sisters Clara Beach, Margaret Ewing.

The family wishes to thank Deb Jasinski and all the nurses and caregivers at Winchester Terrace for their outstanding kindness and skill in caring for our mother during the past 10 years.

Friends may call at Herlihy-Chambers Funeral Home, 173 Park Avenue West, on Friday from 5-7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00am Saturday at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Fr. Jeremy Miller officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church, 54 South Mulberry Street, Mansfield, OH 44902.
