Jack R. Rodeheaver
GALION: Jack R. Rodeheaver, 78, of Galion, died Saturday, December 8, 2012 at home after a one year illness.
Born April 22, 1934 in Morgantown, W.Va., he was the son of the late Jerry R. and Goldie (Shiflett) Rodeheaver. He married Feliz (Martinez) Rodeheaver on June 14, 1965 who survives.
Jack was a graduate of Morgantown High School, and served in the United States Army
during the Korean Conflict
. He later graduated from Lincoln Institute with an Industrial Management degree. He worked at Galion Manufacturing/Komatsu-Dresser for 26 years and retired from Sprint where he worked as a Computer Systems Operator. He was a member of American Legion Scarbrough Post 243 in Galion.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three daughters and three sons-in-law, Esmeralda T. and Hani Fawzie of Columbus, Idalia "Dolly" and Jeffrey Harding of Galion and Felicia Joy and Mohamed Ahmed-Moloud of Kentucky; a son and daughter in law, Santos "Duke" and Lou Newell of Powell; six grandchildren, Billy Joe Nogues, Nicholas (Kristen) Harding, Jason (Bonnie) Harding, Matthew (Stacey) Harding, Emily Newell and Erica Newell; seven great-grandchildren, Nora, Josiah, Gradey, Gabriella, Myla, Caleb and Noah; and a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Melva Rodeheaver of Morgantown,W.Va.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra K Nogues; two brothers, Carl Rodeheaver and Marvin Rodeheaver; and a sister, Betty Lane.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home in Galion where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 12, with Rev. Rick Maddox officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Galion. Graveside military honors will be conducted by the United States Army and Galion/Crestline area veteran's organizations.
