Jeffrey A. Mosey

MANSFIELD: Jeffrey A. Mosey, 59, of Mansfield, died Monday, November 18, 2013 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

Born January 29, 1954 in Mansfield, he was the son of Allen and Evelyn (Teale) Mosey.

He was a 1973 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School and received an Associates Degree in business from North Central Technical College. He had worked for Moore's Lumber as a truck driver for over 25 years. He was proud to be an American and was a member of the Sons of Amvets Post #26, where he volunteered with local veterans and with the Amvets Color Guard. A fun-loving and flirtatious guy, he loved to wear hawaiian shirts and big hats. A grand storyteller he would always say "It's my story and I am sticking to it!". He enjoyed boating, dancing and social gatherings but his greatest enjoyment was his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Dannielle (Lannan) Mosey of Mansfield; a daughter, Jessica (Daniel R.) Tynan of Hilliard, Ohio; two sons, Robert V. Mosey of Mansfield and Daniel A. Mosey of LaPlata, Maryland; two grandsons, Danny and Ellis Tynan; three sisters, Susan Shaus, Victoria Mosey and Molly Ely; his sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law; his nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and many loving family members and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers-in-law, Robert "Bob" Ely and Marion "Duke" Shaus.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario conducted by Celebrant Mark Dettmer. Friends may call two hours prior to the service, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home on Thursday.
