Kayrol A. Fenner

PLYMOUTH: Kayrol A. (McGinty) Fenner, age 82, of Plymouth, died Monday, October 8, 2012 at the Crestline Nursing Center. Kayrol was born April 5, 1930 in Plymouth, Ohio to the late Ruth (Brinley) and David Karl McGinty.

She was valedictorian of her 1948 Plymouth High School class and on October 22 of that same year she married Leonard J. Fenner, and he survives.

She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Plymouth. She loved to knit but her true joy was being active with her children and grandchildren by attending and supporting all of their school activities and sporting events.

In addition to her husband, Leonard; Kayrol is survived by nine children, Lynn (James) Hook of Oakland City, IN, Lee (Ann) Fenner of Mansfield, Terry (Cherril) Fenner of Shelby, Karen (Ray) Hughes of Phoenix, AZ, Karla (Drew) Taylor of Leland, NC, Steve (Elaine) Fenner of Willard, Brian (Kyle) Fenner of Shelby, Jeff (Jill) Fenner of Shelby, Beth Fenner of Plymouth; 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a sister, Velma Vanderpool of Plymouth.

In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by five sisters, Elsie Predieri, Laura Predieri, Norma Patton, Ellen Baker, and Betty Rudd.

Friends may call on Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where funeral services will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 11 AM.

Sr. Yvonne Fischer, OSF, Pastoral Associate at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Plymouth, will officiate and burial will follow in Plymouth Greenlawn Cemetery.
