Lawana Jean Hill

MANSFIELD: Lawana Jean Hill, 65, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 20, 2013 with her family and friends by her side after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born January 30, 1947 in Portsmouth, Ohio she was the daughter of Fred and Nellie J. (Suthers) Minter. She enjoyed arts and crafts and going to flea markets.

She is survived by two sons, Timothy A. Webb of Mansfield and Michael Monroe Minter of Columbus, Ohio; two daughters, Lisa Hilliard of Nashville, TN and Melody Clark of Mansfield; a step son, Randy Hill of Mansfield; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren; three sisters, Garnet (Hubert) Spears of Butler, Cheryl (Gerald) Hopkins of Mansfield and Linda (Joe) Brewer of Phoenix, Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Harrison Eugene Hill.

Per Lawana's request, there will be no services or calling hours at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield, OH 44902 to help defray funeral expenses.
