Leon Yoho

LOUISVILLE: Leon Yoho, 80, of Louisville, formerly of Ontario, died Friday, September 6, 2013 at Green Meadows Nursing Home. Born August 2, 1933 in West Virginia, he was the son of John and Edna (Siox) Yoho. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Leon worked as an electrician for General Motors. He enjoyed wood working, camping, fishing, and boating, especially pontooning on Clear Fork Reservoir.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (Turner) Yoho, whom he married November 21, 1994; children, Gary (Vanessa) Yoho of Indiana, Angela Masters (Ricci Dolph) of Canton, Bob (Tammy) Sherrill of Bellville, and John W. (Jackie) Sherrill of Indiana; grandchildren, Amber, Jessica, Michael, Tanesha, Travis, Bruce, Brandon, Alan, Adam, Winter, and Derrick; great grandchildren, Ryan, Chris, Sara, Molly, and Natalie; sisters, Freida Trumbo of North Carolina and Evelyn Yoho of Wellington; brother, Delbert Yoho of Columbus; special friends, Shirley Belcher and Maxine King; and in-law, Letha Turner. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy, and in-law, Don Turner.

Graveside services will be held Monday, September 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Bellville Cemetery. Military services conducted by the Richland County Joint Veterans Burial Squad will be held.
