MANSFIELD: Lorrie Kiefer, 73, of Mansfield, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 at her home following a lengthy illness, courageously fighting to the end.
Lorrie was born November 17, 1939 in Sunnyside Rural, Washington, the daughter of the late Harry R. and Eunice J. (Jacobs) Aney. She worked as an administrative assistant for NALED. On November 17, 1986, Lorrie married Raymond B. Kiefer.
Lorrie is survived by two daughters, Sarah & Jerry of Ohio and Elizabeth & Raymond of Illinois; one son, David & Lindsay of Florida; ten grandchildren, Azerina & Adam of Kentucky, Carl & Jasmine, Tabbatha & Mike, Bethanie, Ashley, and Katelynn all of Illinois, Isabella, Jasmine, David, and Adam all of Florida; seven great grandchildren, Alex of Kentucky, Alyssa, Audrina J., Angelique, Miguel, Malyha, and Audrina M. all of Illinois; one sister, Francis & Bob of Washington; brother, Harvey & Donna of Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Lorrie was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Bobby; one granddaughter, Taylea; and five siblings, Georgia, Hazel, Allen, Reta May, and Kenneth.
Calling hours will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Dan Clouse officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Werner-Gompf Funeral Services to assist with the funeral expenses.
