Margaret "Mick" Jean Messenger

MANSFIELD, OH: Margaret "Mick" Jean Messenger, 82, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at MedCentral Mansfield surrounded by family. Born October 21, 1930 in Bristol in England, she was the daughter of William Craig and Ada Violet (Smith) Webster. A homemaker, Margaret enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, and spending time with her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Lesley (Michael) McKee of Mansfield; sons, John (Velma) Messenger and Kenneth Messenger, both of Mansfield; grandchildren, Ken (Lori) McKee, Lynn (Joe) Voll, Taylor Dickerson, Tiffany Scott, and Sonja Messenger; six great grandchildren; sisters, Frances (Robert) Norris and Pauline Hamilton, both of Mansfield; and George Smith of Mansfield; and several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Royston Messenger in April 1998; brother, Robert Smith; sister, Irene Rowland; brother-in-law, Charles Hamilton; and sister-in-law, Corrine Smith.

Burial will be held in Windsor Park Cemetery, Monday, January 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. A celebration of life gathering will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the Life Celebration Reception Center, 129 S.
