GREENWICH: Mark Eikleberry, 54, of Greenwich, died suddenly of a heart attack on Friday, June 21, 2013 at Fisher Titus Medical Center in Norwalk. He was born December 1, 1958 in Bellaire, Ohio to Archie and Wanetta (Hall) Eikleberry. Mark was employed as a machinist with Custom Hoists for 25 years. Spending time with his family was his favorite activity. He enjoyed cook outs, fishing, watching The Ohio State Buckeyes and his grandchildren playing sports.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Elaine (Poth) Eikleberry; daughter, Crystal (James Jr.) Beverly of Ashland; son, Brett (Kristen) Eikleberry of Shelby; grandchildren, Jakob, Kaylee, Karissa, Chase and Kendall; mother, Wanetta Eikleberry of Ashland; two sisters, Sue (Larry) Schaub of Polk and Regina (Tom) Stephens of Columbus; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Patricia Poth of Greenwich; three sisters-in-law, Juanita, Julie and LouAnn; and a brother-in-law, John. He was preceded in death by his father, Archie Eikleberry; brother, David Eikleberry; father-in-law, Frank Poth, Sr.; and brother-in-law, Frank Poth, Jr.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Avenue. The funeral service conducted by Pastor John Bouquet will be in the funeral home Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Adario Cemetery. Mark fought a tough battle with Parkinson's Disease for the past 20 years. Memorial contributions may be made to any Parkinson's Disease research association. A gathering of family and friends will be held following the graveside service at Adario Town Hall.
