Mary Jane (Hahn) Reip

MANSFIELD: Mary Jane (Hahn) Reip, 58, of Mansfield, died Thursday, April 24, 2014 at her residence. Born December 30, 1955 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Richard Leroy and Patricia Ann (O'Leary) Hahn.

Mary Jane was a 1974 graduate of Malabar High School and was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. She was an avid sports fan and tennis player. Mary Jane donated a kidney to her brother Joe Hahn in 1998 and had always devoted her time helping those in need. She was a samaritan ~ Luke 17-19 ~ now forever healed. Her love for her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends far outweighed her illness.

She is survived by two sons, Richard (Karen) Reip of Henderson, NV and David (Kalei) Reip of Georgia; four grandchildren, Phoebe, Sebastian, Sheldon and Dakota; two sisters, Barbara (Ron) Duncan of Mansfield and Patricia (Laverne) Thompson; three brothers, Charles Patrick Hahn, James R. (Virginia) Hahn both of Mansfield and John F. (Beth) Hahn of New Albany, OH; numerous nieces and nephews; a special uncle, Tom Miller; and a sister-in-law, Pam Hahn of Columbus. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Timothy R. Hahn, William Leroy Hahn and Joseph Michael Hahn.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2014 at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Monsignor Dunn Foundation, the American Kidney Foundation or the .
