Minnie Utt

Minnie Leealice (Stone) Utt

MANSFIELD: Another Angel was called home on December 20, 2012. Minnie Leealice (Stone) Utt, 77 of Mansfield, entered Heavens gate where her family greeted her with open arms. Looking down on her loved ones left behind while she once again plays Bingo with her daughter Kim and watches her son Ronnie bowl that perfect game.

Minnie was born on December 17, 1935 to Acel Stone and Edna (Kelly) Stone. She was raised in Portsmouth, Ohio with her two brothers Ray Stone and Alfred Stone. She had 7 children to which she dedicated her life, Carol Flockenzier, Donnie Utt, Ronnie Utt, Kenny Utt, Sherrie Gonzales, Kimberly Utt, and Becky Carmel. She also has 19 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren whom she loved to no avail. Family was her life and enjoyed nothing more than getting together for summer picnics and holidays, where she made her famous fruit salad.

Minnie is preceded in death by her parents, brother Alfred Stone, daughter Kimberly Utt, son Ronnie Utt, and grand daughter Dawn Forwith. Minnie was a genuine and selfless soul, helping any and everyone, and the most non-confrontational woman. She was a very hard working mother and even helped raise some of her grand children. Most importantly, she loved without revocation and will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones.

Friends may call at Herlihy-Chambers Funeral Home, 173 Park Avenue West, on Thursday from 1 - 3pm. Burial will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
