BELLVILLE: Raleigh H Dickerson, 78, of Bellville, finished his race and is now at peace after passing away Friday, November 15, 2013 in The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center following an extended illness.
Residing in Bellville, Raleigh worked for Therm-O-Disc as a mechanical engineer. He later retired from Hi-Stat as a quality control manager.
He was a member of New Life Church of Christ in Bellville.
He is survived by his loving wife Judy Dickerson of Bellville; son Aaron Jay Tyo-Dickerson and his wife Kimberly of The Hague, The Netherlands, daughter Sarah Elizabeth Sutherland and her husband Lowe of Louisville, Kentucky; grandchildren Abity and Tagesech Tyo-Dickerson and Levi Crowe Sutherland; brother Kay Dickerson and his wife Cathy of Amherst, sister Joan Sites of Findlay; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jerry and Martha Gundrum of Lexington; nieces, nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends at New Life Church of Christ in Bellville.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 2-4 pm in New Life Church of Christ, 195 West Durbin Avenue, Bellville.
The Bellville Snyder Funeral Homes is honored to assist the Dickerson family with compassionate cremation services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Unverferth House may be made through the funeral home.
