Raymond C. Wolf

MANSFIELD: Raymond C. Wolf, 88, of Mansfield died March 11, 2014. Born December 18, 1925 in Shiloh, he was the son of Alvin and Freda (Foulk) Wolf. Raymond owned and developed many businesses, including Wolf Plumbing and Heating and R.C. Wolf Builders. Raymond was a 65 year member of Stewart Road Church of God as well as a member of Church of God Men of Vision, Gideons, and a Lay Minister of Church of God Prison Ministries. He also was on the International Board of Prison Ministries, Church of God World Missions, and Council of Elders for Dr. T.L. Lowrey. Raymond enjoyed deer hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his children, Carolyn (Ken) Wolf Holmquist of Hixson, TN and David Ray (Joyce) Wolf of Mansfield; grandchildren, D. Neil (Laura) Hamilton, Troy D. (Angie) Hamilton, Matthew T. (Brittney) Hamilton, Jeffrey D. (Beth) Wolf, and Jodi (Chris) Wolf Rouse; great grandchildren, Austin, Trevin, Hannah, Addison, Clark, Oliver, and Adra Hamilton and Seth and Kyelei Wolf; brothers, Vergil and Norman Wolf.

Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Rose (Altman) Wolf; two grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Wolf and Ryan Patrick Wolf; and great granddaughter, Kailei Elizabeth Wolf.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Rd., Ontario. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Jeff Wolf and Rev. Sam Wright, will be held Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at the Stewart Road Church of God, 1425 N. Stewart Road, Mansfield, OH 44905. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Mansfield Memorial Park.
