DELAWARE: Robert "Bob" Adams, 64, of Delaware, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.

He was born on April 12, 1949, in Portsmouth, to the late Donald and Stella (Borders) Adams. Bob grew up in Shiloh. He also enjoyed spending winters in Arizona with his loving wife of nearly 43 years Charlotte.

Bob proudly served his country as a marine during the Vietnam War. He worked for CSX and retired after 35 years of service to the company. He enjoyed camping and woodworking. Bob also built two of the houses that his family lived in.

Survived by his wife, Charlotte (Shepherd) Adams; children, Duane Adams of Columbus, Susie (Jeff) Murray of Commercial Point, Darrell (Rebekah) Adams of Marion; siblings, Donna (Clifton) Baldridge of Flemingsburg, KY, James (Vicky) Adams of Ashland, Shirley (Rick) Reeder of Shiloh, Beverly Lacey of Willard and Donald "Junior" (Hope) Adams of Plymouth; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Charles "Jay" Adams.

Visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of the funeral service at 1 pm Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 W. Main St., Greenwich. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh.
