MANSFIELD: Robert "Bob" Nottingham, 59, a lifelong resident of Mansfield, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2013.
Bob was born on August 2, 1953, in Mansfield, to Robert and Louise Nottingham. Bob was a 1971 graduate of Madison High School, and had been a member of Cook Road Baptist, during which time he went on several missions. He retired from Millwright Local 1871 and enjoyed spending time with his family and his two Chihuahuas, Sasha and Zoey. A lover of adventure, Bob was always looking forward to the next one. He felt most at peace cruising the open road on his motorcycle, gardening, and nature, and traveling with family and friends, particularly to the mountains of Tennessee and out West.
Bob is the beloved husband of Pamela Nottingham of Mansfield; loving son of Robert and Louise Nottingham of Mansfield; brother of Darlene Ute of Mansfield; devoted father of Melissa (Brent) White of Mansfield and Jason (Jessica) Carrico of Columbus; and adoring grandfather of Titus White. They survive him along with many other cherished family members and wonderful friends, including his life-long friend Al Williams.
Calling hours will be from 6:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield, and at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Wayne Guinn officiating. Burial will follow at Mansfield Cemetery.
