Shirley Mae Brady

MANSFIELD: Shirley Mae Brady, 75, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at her residence. Born October 18, 1937 in Mansfield, Ohio she was the daughter of Charlie Smith and Dimple Dolly Smith-Trammel. She retired from Richland Hospital where she worked in the dietary department and prior to that had been a waitress and bartender for the Historical Leland Hotel. She enjoyed vegetable gardening and canning her goods that were harvested and was also a wonderful cook and baker.

She is survived by five daughters, Sebrena (Jim) Dove of Illinois, Rebecca Jaranowski, Hailee Brady, Trina and Billie Carol all of Mansfield; two sons, Michael (Sharon) Brady of Galion and Jerry (Barb) Brady of Mansfield; grandchildren, Brandon, Jamie, Hope, Jolene, Gene Lee, Daniel, Mike, Jason and Britney; 14 great grandchildren; her miniature Schnauzer, Salty; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Brady; a son, Gene Brady; a grandson, Brian; a great grandson, Jesse; a brother, Jack Trammel; and a sister, Helen Morganstern.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield conducted by Rector Emeritus David S. Sipes. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the .
