Tamara D. Deems

GALION: Tamara D. Deems, 48, of Galion, died unexpectedly at home Monday, Nov. 26, 2012.

Born June 17, 1964 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Larry and Marilyn (Jones) Taylor, who survive in Mansfield.

Tammy is also survived by her son, Alex Deems and his fiancé, Marissa Radish of Akron; one daughter, Amanda Deems of Galion; a brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Midge Taylor of Lewis Center; and a sister, Jenny Taylor of Galion.

A graduate of Lexington High School in 1982, Tammy had been working at JoAnn Fabrics in Ontario and also at the Park Avenue West Kroger in Mansfield. She previously worked at Jay Plastics in Mansfield. Tammy enjoyed nature, spending time with her children, and most especially scrap booking with Amanda. She attended Galion Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home in Galion with Elder David Dunn, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Park in Lexington.

Memorial contributions may be made to Richardson-Davis Funeral Home, 218 S. Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 for the continual care of Amanda.
