MANSFIELD: Thelma M. Collinsworth Clark, 89, of Mansfield, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013, at Crystal Care Nursing Home, Mansfield, following a lengthy illness.
Thelma was born on May 29, 1923, in Lawton, KY to Will and Anna Crozart Collinsworth. She was a homemaker and excelled in her cooking skills. She was known for her many specialties including her fudge. She was loved by her family and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by four children, Jim (Beckie) Clark, Connie (Bill) Ruhl, Tim (Shirley) Clark, and Mark (Tabitha) Clark; one daughter-in-law, Virginia Clark; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, James Clark; six children, Rosetta Sue Pitts, Jerry Clark, Ernest Clark, and three infant daughters; two sisters, Becky Lowe and Elsie Thomas; and four brothers, Ernest Collinsworth, Willard Collinsworth, Charlie Collinsworth, and Cecil Collinsworth.
Calling hours will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Dallas Waggle officiating. Burial will be in Osborne Cemetery, Lawton, KY.
