MANSFIELD: Tyrone Pinkston, 41, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born August 17, 1971 in Mansfield, he was the son of Gus and Ruth A. (France) Pinkston, Jr. A 1989 graduate of Crestview High School, Tyrone also attended Pioneer Joint Vocational School. He worked at Copperweld and most recently Newman Technology in Mansfield. An avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State fan, Tyrone loved fishing, cleaning and maintaining his car, playing video games, and had a strong love of music. He will be remembered for his beautiful smile, his generosity, and his humbleness. Tyrone always had words of encouragement and willing to offer advice to others.
He is survived by Angela Moore-Pinkston; children, Christopher, Aaron, and Olivia, all of Mansfield; and Makayla and Miles of Willard; mother, Ruth (France) Pinkston; sisters, Carla France, Ruth France, Melissa Pinkston, Tonia Pinkston, Michelle Pinkston, and Amy (France) Wellington; brother, Robert Lambert of Jackson, MS; special friend, Melikia Sylvester; six aunts; and nine uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Gus Pinkston, Jr., his maternal and paternal grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Diamond St. Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be entrusted to Wappner Funeral Directors in the family's name.
