GALION: Kevin Fuhrer's smile brightened the mood and was contagious to those around him. Easygoing, he was content with just hanging out with friends and family.

On Monday morning, July 22, 2013 Kevin Lee Fuhrer, 26, of Galion passed away from injuries sustained from an automobile accident.

Kevin was born June 20, 1987 in Mansfield and attended both Lexington and Galion schools.

Active, he enjoyed playing basketball.

Described as a loving person who was sweet and caring, Kevin's character will remain in the hearts of his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Rhonda and Rich Rushlow of Galion; father and stepmother, David and Laura Fuhrer of Fredericktown; sister, Kaylin Fuhrer; nephew, Carter Rister; maternal grandmother, Janet Dill of Lexington and paternal grandmother, Jeanne Fuhrer (Jim Lee) of South Carolina; stepbrothers, Hayden Crosswhite and Buck Rushlow; stepsister, Kiya Rushlow; best friend, Scott Dripp; aunts, uncles and extended family.

Kevin was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Dill and paternal grandfather, John Fuhrer.

The family will receive friends, Friday, July 26, 2013 from 5-8 pm in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Homes where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 am. Pastor Walter Keib will officiate and burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Snyder Funeral Homes, to assist the family with funeral expenses.
