Alexandre J. Sanchez

LEXINGTON: Alexandre J. Sanchez, 17, of Lexington died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born June 8, 1995 in Columbus, Ohio. He was the son of Julie (Hickson) Sanchez and (the late) Jean P. Sanchez. He was a senior at Lexington High School and the Pioneer Career and Technology Center in Shelby. Alex was a diver, skateboarder, skier, artist, and lover of music. He loved his family.

He was a loyal and loving friend.

He is survived by his mother, Julie (Hickson) Sanchez; brothers, Cameron (Brittani) Sanchez of Columbus, Gabriel Sanchez (Alexis Cockley) of Lexington; nephew, John Allan Sanchez of Lexington; grandparents, Joseph Sanchez (Barb Kreis) of Gray, Tennessee, Lucienne Sanchez of Mansfield, Ronald Hickson of Lexington, Tanya Ressing of Gahanna; uncles, Michel Sanchez of Mansfield, Wayne Sanchez of Mansfield; aunts, Lucy (Kevin) Knapp of Lucas, Chantel Sanchez (Steve Sheppard) of Columbus, Karena (Nannu) Singh of Gahanna; cousins, Clark (Tara) Harvey, Ellen (Jason) Day, George Sanchez, Javin Singh, and Raina Singh; and his "bro's" Alec Bradshaw, Jarrod Bradshaw, Nick Lannon, Gage Stemple, Glenn Stemple, Bob Bissman, Matt Crislip, and countless others. He is preceded in death by his father, Jean P Sanchez.

We love you, Alex, and will keep you in our hearts, always.

A celebration of Alexandre's life will be held Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to share memories of Alexandre. Friends may call prior to the service on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Following the service, we will be continuing the celebration of Alex's life at the Life Celebration Reception Center, 129 S. Main St, Mansfield, Ohio. Online guest registry at www.wappner.com
