MANSFIELD: Antlieda "Autheda" (Hill) Lambert, 70, of Mansfield, died Friday, August 30, 2013 at her residence.
Born August 11, 1943 in Pike County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Belmer and Mary (Adkins) Hill.
A homemaker, she attended Broadway United Baptist Church in Shelby and was an avid journalist, having kept many journals on her life. Autheda never met a stranger as she loved whomever she met but her greatest love above all was her family and her church.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years this December, Arcus Lambert; her children, Gary (Robin) Lambert, Jeffrey Lambert and Tara Thompson all of Mansfield; grandchildren, Tonia, Michael, Jenna and Jared Lambert, Caleb, Emma and Madelyn Lambert and Jordan and Rebecca Thompson; great grandchildren, Jordan, Joshua, Sadie, Dakota, Riley, Alexis and Elijah; brothers, Larry (Rita) Hill of Shiloh, Lawrence (Rosemary) Hill and Denzil (Janice) Hill both of Pike County, Kentucky; a special friend, Marilyn Owens; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Curtis Lambert; a great grandson, Jayden Amonds; sister, Beulah Faye Hill; and one brother, Luke Hill.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, September 1, 2013 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Road, Ontario. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home conducted by Pastors Jay Hale, Herman Copley, Jim Owens and Bill King. Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery.
