MANSFIELD: Arthur Paul Ritzhaupt, 91, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at his home. He was born January 17, 1921 in North Robinson, OH. He was the son of the late Paul D. and Mabel (Ford) Ritzhaupt. Arthur retired in 1981 as a truck driver with Commercial Motor Freight after 40 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII. He was a member of the Ontario Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
He is survived by two brothers, Robert Ritzhaupt of Vason, WA and Wilbur Ritzhaupt of Mansfield; two sisters, Martha Fraley of Mansfield and Marilyn Andrade of Olympia, WA; two sisters-in-law, Iva I. Goff of Columbus, Ohio, Vivian Hardman of Ashland, Ohio; and one brother-in-law, Henry Baker of Crestline, Ohio; a special nephew, Tyler Osbun; along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Belva Baker Ritzhaupt; brothers, Edward and Clarence Ritzhaupt; and a sister, Erma Ritzhaupt.
Friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2012 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. The funeral service will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be C. David Dunn. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
