MANSFIELD: Cami J. Armor, 39, of 210 Helen Avenue, Mansfield, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012 at Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus, OH after a short illness surrounded by her loving family.

Cami was born in Morehead City, NC on August 20, 1973 to Doyle Armor of Calera, OK and Louvonda Armor of Mansfield.

In addition to her many talents as a writer, singer, artist and friend to all, Cami was employed at Richland Newhope at Longview and had also worked at the Richland County Courthouse for 13 years. She participated in Special Olympics, served as a photographer and was an honorary member of Galion High School Class of 1966. She loved reminding everyone of her birthday. Christmas was her favorite holiday. Cami was an avid Ohio State fan. She enjoyed country music including Vince Gill, Lonestar and Blake Shelton and was able to share her talents on stage at the Grand Ole Opry. Cami was well travelled with her many family vacations. She was full of love, innocence, lived life to the fullest and had confidence and a great deal of self-esteem. She taught her family to see things through her eyes and made us all better people for it.

She is survived by her sister Bronwen (Joe) Shaffer of Lucas and her brother Joel Armor of Cincinnati, her three nephews Joe, Jerek and Brevin Shaffer, her four favorite maternal aunts; Sandy Hockler of Galion, Melodee Sheils of Centerville, Amy (Freddie) Beachy of Galion, and Tanya May of Sunbury, paternal aunts, Donna Neff of Calera, OK and Sheryl (Paul) Taylor of Indiana, paternal uncles, Richard & Michael Armor both of Calera, OK, her grandmother Phyllis Holt of Galion, and cousins Tabbie Hockler of Grandview, Berrigan Sheils of Springfield, Molly Sheils of SC, Hannah Sheils of Columbus, Peyton, Skylar and Braylen Beachy all of Galion, Wyatt and Addison May both of Sunbury and Travis Moore of Mansfield and her cat Bosko.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Jarold Holt, her paternal grandparents, Louise and Odies Armor, her uncles Norman Hockler and Jerry Armor, her cousin Michelle Moore and her cat Me'Dawn.

Friends may call Friday December 28, 2012 from 5-8 PM at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Galion.

The family requests memorial contributions may be made to Richland Newhope in care of the funeral home.
