Colena Tempa (Dean) Webb
MANSFIELD: Colena Tempa (Dean) Webb, age 83, went to be with the Lord, Jesus Christ early Tuesday morning, February 19, 2013 at her home. She was born September 28, 1929 in Carter County, Kentucky to the late Elgin "Doc" and Pearlie (Nolan) Dean. Colena was formerly employed at Taylor Metal. Blessed with a green thumb, she enjoyed her flower gardens. She was a member of Dean Road Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed listening to the Christian Quartet, Gaither Homecoming.
She is survived by two daughters, Rose Ann Courtney of Shelby, Joan (Jackie) Mullins of Mansfield; two sons, Dennis (Linda) Webb and David (Thersa) Webb, both of Mansfield; grandchildren, Raymond Mullins, Faith Webb, Robert Allen, Jeffrey Allen, Sean Courtney, Tonya Fox, Crystal Grindstaff, David Allen Webb, Angel Brannon, Dustin Webb, Brett Webb, Daniel Jason "DJ" Webb, Tina Dixon, Chad Terry, all of Mansfield and Les Johnson of OK; numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters, Martha Webb and Edna Toler; two sisters-in-law, Inez Smith of Shelby and Dorine Dean of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Webb in 1980, whom she married on September 13, 1947; infant son, James Webb; and grandson, Ty Terry.
Friends and family may visit from 2-4 and 6-7 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. Rev. Clifford Earl Tackett will conduct the service at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be Saturday, February 23, 2013 in Webb Cemetery, Carter County, Kentucky.
