Debi Keene Sargent

PERRYSVILLE: Debi Keene Sargent, 58, of Perrysville, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 in Hospice of North Central Ohio, Ashland following a courageous seven year battle with cancer. Debi was born March 10, 1955 in Wooster and was the daughter of Wilbur E. and Evelyn E. (Miller) Manchester. She was a 1973 graduate of Loudonville High School and had lived her entire life in the Loudonville-Perrysville area. Debi had worked as a law enforcement dispatcher for 20 years with both the Loudonville Police Department and the Ashland County Sheriff's Department. A life-long learner, Debi enjoyed attending art classes at Mansfield Art Center. She was an active member of New Hope Community Church of Loudonville and loved traveling and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Debi is survived by her husband, Jeff L. Sargent of Perrysville, whom she married Sept. 3, 2005; a son, Mike (Tarri Britt) Keene of Loudonville; a daughter, Kristin (George) Fisk of East Palestine, 2 step-sons: Eric Sargent of Lexington and Brad Sargent of Bellville; her mother, Evelyn E. Manchester of Wooster; 2 grandchildren, Cambrian Keene and Preston Good; and 2 step-grandchildren: Chloe Sargent and Lilly Sprague, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Wilbur Manchester, on Nov. 18, 2011.

Celebration of Life services will be conducted on Wed., Sept. 11, 2013 at 2:00 PM in New Hope Community Church of Loudonville with Pastor Rob Patterson, Pastor Jeff Cooper, and Pastor John Temple officiating with casual attire by Debi's request. Burial will follow in Loudonville Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:30 until 2:00 PM on Wednesday at the Church. The LINDSEY FUNERAL HOME OF LOUDONVILLE is honored to be assisting the Sargent family.
