Fay Watson Obituary
Fay "Judy" Watson

MANSFIELD: Fay "Judy" Watson, 70, of Mansfield, died peacefully in her sleep at Winchester Nursing Home early Tuesday morning, December 24, 2013.

Judy was born to the late Joe Ron and Beulah Cantrill on July 23, 1943, in Mansfield. Judy gave birth to two sons, Carl and Kenny, before moving to CA with her husband Ken Watson, in the winter of 1968. While in CA, she obtained a degree in fine arts. After enjoying the fun and sun of CA with Ken and her growing boys, she moved back to Mansfield to be with the rest of her family and start a successful business aptly named Watson Jewelers located on St. Rt. 39.

Judy was a lover of family and life and conveyed this through her infectious smile and constant enthusiasm. Judy was able to enjoy and appreciate the beauty in whatever she encountered. Whether the task was small or large, daunting or easy, Judy was able to take it head on and succeed at whatever she attempted to do. Virtues of strength, commitment, tenacity and selflessness are just a few words to describe Judy and the way she lived her life.

Judy is survived by her husband, Ken; her son, Kenny of Mansfield; her granddaughter, Kristy Bowers; great-granddaughter, Emmalee of CA; one step-daughter, Joyce; her five sisters, Sandy Danals and Toni Wyatt of Mansfield, Lisa "Samie" Kenniston of Reynoldsburg, and Joyce Miller and Mary Cantrill of CA; her sister-in-law, Mary Alice Cantrill of CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Carl; her brother, Ken Cantrill; and her sister, Rube Davenport.

Calling hours will be from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.

A special thank you would like to be extended by Judy's family on her behalf to the nurses and staff of Winchester Nursing Home in Mansfield. It was their compassion and love of Judy that helped make her stay at Winchester a delightful and therapeutic experience. Thank you.
