Jennifer L. Stevens

GREENWICH: Jennifer L. Stevens, age 45, of Greenwich, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 10, 2014 surrounded by her family at Stein Hospice, Sandusky.

Jenny was born December 19, 1968 in Shelby, Ohio. She was a lifelong resident of Greenwich. Jenny graduated from South Central High School in 1987 and drove school bus for the same district for 17 years. She loved her job and enjoyed each student on her route. Jenny was a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandma. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she loved every minute spent with them. She loved primitives, antiques, and travelling. She was a supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness activities, recently participating in the Dirty Girls Mud Run in the summer of 2013, which helped raise money for breast cancer research.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Christopher Stevens; her children, Tyler (Trisha) Stevens, Chelsea (Kyle) Griffin and Charles Stevens, all of Greenwich; her grandchildren, Hayden, Stacey and David Stevens, Adylynn Griffin and Baby Griffin, which is due this Spring; her parents, Ray and Beth (Price) Risner of Crestline; siblings and their families, Michelle (Lucky) Hamilton of Green Springs, Matthew (Carrie L.) Risner of Albion, Washington, and Carrie A. Risner of Crestline; her mother in law, Judy Stevens of New London; brothers in law, and their families, Mike, Robert and Mark Stevens, all of Greenwich.

Jenny was preceded in death by her father in law, David C. Stevens; sister in law, Terri Stevens; her paternal grandparents, Cisco and Earsie Risner; maternal grandparents, Kelly T. Price and Lorraine Price-Teer; uncles, Vaxter Risner and Dorsey Price; grandparents in law, Ralph and Maxine Dawson and Casey and Ruth Stevens.

Private family services were held.
