MANSFIELD: Johnny Samuel, 67, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Mifflin Care Center after an extended illness.
Johnny was born November 17, 1946, in Evergreen AL, to the late Jimmy Samuel and Minnie Williams-Samuel. Johnny has lived in Mansfield since 1967.
He worked at Ohio Brass for many of years before becoming disabled.
Johnny leaves to cherished in his memory a daughter, Teresa (Bobby) Samuel, of Mansfield; two sons, Christopher (Tarius) Samuel and Philliphe Samuel, both of Mansfield; 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; 11 sisters, all of Evergreen, AL; and six brothers, all of Evergreen, AL; ex-wife, Anna M. Anderson, of Mansfield; host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
The services will be held Saturday, December 7, 2013, at 11 a.m., with one hour prior calling at Community Temple COGIC, 338 Harker St., Mansfield, Ohio 44903, with Rev. Henry Bradley officiating. The committal services will be held at the church.
The family will be receiving family and friends of the daughter home, 215 Walter Ave., Mansfield, Ohio 44903, until the day of the services.
The family has entrusted Small's Funeral Services with the arrangements.
